The MEGA 360 "Combo" Cable

To get the most out of your boat's front end, you need both 360 Imaging AND traditional sonar. The Humminbird 9 M360 2DDI Y Cable splits the 7-pin transducer port on your HELIX unit, allowing you to connect a **MEGA 360** transducer and a separate **2D/MDI** source (like the Built-In MEGA DI on your Minn Kota motor) simultaneously.

How It Works:

Without this cable, you would have to unplug your trolling motor's sonar to plug in the 360. This Y-cable merges the signals so your HELIX unit displays both the rotating 360 view and the depth/down imaging from below the motor on split screens.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this give me Side Imaging from my trolling motor?

No. This cable is specifically wired for MEGA 360 + 2D/Down Imaging. It does not carry Side Imaging from the trolling motor transducer. The MEGA 360 provides the side-looking view.

Can I use this on my SOLIX?

No. The SOLIX and APEX units use a 14-pin connector. This cable has 7-pin connectors designed for the HELIX series. You need the 14 M360 2DDI Y for a SOLIX.

Do I need this if I only have the MEGA 360?

No. If you only want to see the 360 view and do not care about depth readings or Down Imaging while moving, you can plug the MEGA 360 directly into the head unit. However, most anglers want depth data on screen, which requires this Y-cable to add the second transducer.
