Humminbird AS T Y Temp/Speed Splitter Cable (720052-1)
720075-1Compatibility:
The "In-Hull" Temperature Fix
If you use a shoot-through-hull transducer (epoxied inside your bilge), your fish finder reads the temperature of your fiberglass, not the lake. The Humminbird AS T Y Cable solves this by splitting your unit's transducer port into two.
How it works:
Plug your In-Hull transducer into one side for Depth/Sonar. Plug a separate transom-mounted Temperature Sensor (TG W) or Speed Wheel (SW) into the other side. The cable merges the signals so your HELIX displays depth from the hull and accurate temperature from the water.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the cable to split Side Imaging and 2D Sonar?
NO. That is the 9 M SIDBY cable. The AS T Y (this cable) is specifically for splitting Temperature/Speed accessories from the main sonar. If you try to use this for Side Imaging, it will not work.
Why do I need this if my transducer has temp?
You generally don't, unless your transducer is mounted inside the hull. When a transducer is glued inside a fiberglass boat, it cannot touch the water to read the temperature. This cable allows you to add a separate temperature probe (TG W) on the transom to get that data back.
Will this work on a HELIX 7 G4N?
Yes. The HELIX 7 G4N uses the standard 7-pin connector, so this Y-cable fits perfectly. It is commonly used on high-speed bass boats running a HELIX 7 with an in-hull puck.
