• HELIX 7 CHIRP G4N (All Models)
• HELIX 7 CHIRP G3N (All Models)
• Backward compatible with G2/G2N and G3 (Non-N), but sits higher than stock.

• HELIX 5 Series (Too narrow)
• HELIX 8, 9, 10, 12 (Too wide)
• HELIX 7 G1 (Fits physically, but bracket is taller than necessary)

The "Tall" Bracket for Networking

Not all HELIX 7 brackets are created equal. The Humminbird GM H7R2 is the updated, taller gimbal mount designed specifically for HELIX 7 G4N (Networking) models. Because the G4N units have extra heavy-duty cable collectors, they require this extra height to tilt properly without the connectors hitting the boat or ice pack.

Why you need the R2:

If you try to mount a new G4N unit on an old G2 bracket, you will find you cannot adjust the screen angle because the cables bottom out. This bracket gives you the necessary clearance for full articulation.

Height. The GM H7R2 is roughly 1-inch taller than the original GM H7. This extra height is critical for the G4N models because the Ethernet and NMEA cables require more room at the back of the unit.

Yes. The kit includes the gimbal bracket and the two side mounting knobs (ratchet style) to secure the unit.

Can I use this on my ice fishing shuttle?
