Frequently Asked Questions
Does this remote come with the charging cable and lanyard?
No, this specific part number (1866650) is for the replacement remote only. The USB charging cable and the Minn Kota remote lanyard are sold separately.
How do I know if my motor has i-Pilot LINK or standard i-Pilot?
Look at the head of your trolling motor. If it has standard i-Pilot, it will just say "i-Pilot". If it has the Link system, it will clearly say "i-Pilot LINK". Additionally, the Link system is the only one that physically connects to a Humminbird fish finder via an Ethernet cable.
How do I pair this new remote to my trolling motor?
Turn on your trolling motor. Press and hold the "Learn" button on the top of the trolling motor control head (a steady audio tone will emit). While holding that button, navigate to the Settings menu on your new remote, select "Bluetooth", and then select "Pair". The motor will beep three times when successfully paired.
