Frequently Asked Questions

Will this fit my HELIX 7 SI?

No. The HELIX 7 uses a smaller "Compact Side Imaging" transducer (XNT style). This bracket is too wide for it. You need the MHX XNT (740093-1) for a HELIX 7.

Is this the metal bracket?

No. This is the High-Impact Composite (Plastic) bracket that came standard with the 998c and 1198c. If you want the heavy-duty metal upgrade for this transducer, you need the MHX XHS (Metal) bracket.

Does it work with the new MEGA SI+ transducers?

No. The new MEGA SI+ transducers (HELIX G3N/G4N) are much larger and heavier. They require the MHX MX metal bracket. This plastic bracket is not strong enough to hold them at speed.
