How do I make the camera look down?
To look straight down (Vertical View), you clip the fin onto the cable about 4-5 inches above the camera head, and insert the cable into the rear notch of the fin. This forces the camera lens to point directly at the bottom.
Does this fit the HD7i or HD10i?
No. The full-size HD series uses a much thicker cable. This clip is designed specifically for the thin, wire-like cable found on the Micro and Revolution handheld units. It will snap if you try to force it onto a thick cable.
Is this the same part that came in the box?
Yes. This is the exact factory replacement part. These fins are small and often get lost in the snow or dropped down the hole, so we stock them as a direct replacement.
