Simply remove the stainless steel locking pin to slide your motor off the bow for travel or winter storage. The pin can be replaced with a standard padlock (not included) to secure your expensive motor to the deck.

Will this fit the new Ultrex QUEST?
Yes. The Ultrex QUEST shares the same mounting bolt pattern as the standard Ultrex and Fortrex. This bracket (MKA-23) is fully compatible with the new brushless QUEST series.
What is the difference between MKA-23 and MKA-52/62?
The MKA-23 is Composite (Plastic). The MKA-52 (and MKA-62) is Aluminum. The composite version is quieter (no metal rattle) and cleaner looking. The aluminum version is technically stronger for extreme abuse but can be noisier.
