This specific MKR-US2-1 cable is primarily designed for older legacy Garmin models. Newer ECHOMAP or STRIKER units usually feature an 8-pin or 4-pin connection, which requires a different adapter (such as the MKR-US2-12 or MKR-US2-14). You may also need Garmin's 8-to-12 pin adapter block. Always verify your unit's pin count before purchasing.

Will this give me ClearVü or SideVü on my screen?

No. The Universal Sonar 2 (US2) built into your Minn Kota motor is strictly a 2D sonar transducer. It does not contain the specialized crystals required to produce Down Imaging or Side Imaging of any kind, regardless of what adapter cable you use.

Is the connection point waterproof?
