Clear Views in the Worst Weather

Don't let blowing snow and freezing rain obscure your jig. The Marcum Snow Shield is a clear, durable plastic cover designed to snap securely over the face of your classic Marcum mechanical flasher. It keeps ice build-up off the dial so you never miss a mark when the weather turns nasty on the ice.

Unobstructed Control:

This shield is molded specifically for the classic round bezels. It covers the central flasher display while leaving the bottom control panel completely open, allowing you to adjust your gain, zoom, and noise rejection without having to remove the cover with frozen fingers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this fit the digital LX-7 or LX-9?

No. The digital units have a completely different flat-screen rectangular design. This shield is specifically molded for the round bezels of the classic mechanical flashers like the LX-3 and LX-5.

Do I have to remove it to adjust my settings?

No. The shield covers the central flasher dial but leaves the control knobs on the bottom of the unit fully exposed. You can easily adjust your gain or zoom without taking the shield off.

Will it fit my new M-Series flasher?

While similar in shape, the newer M-Series (M1, M3, M5) flashers often have a slightly different bezel profile or come with built-in guards. This specific shield (23-1042-80090) is officially designed and rated for the older VX and LX mechanical series.
