Product Title Humminbird UC M - Neoprene Unit Cover (Matrix / 500 Series)
780007-1Compatibility:
Protect Your Legacy Screen
Keep your fish finder's screen safe from scratches, dust, and UV damage when not in use. The Humminbird UC M (780007-1) is a high-quality, slip-on protective cover designed specifically for older legacy Matrix and 500 Series units.
Stretch Neoprene Design:
Unlike the modern hard-plastic covers, this "UC M" model is constructed from durable, stretchable neoprene. It fits snugly over the head unit like a glove, ensuring it won't easily blow off while trailering down the highway.
- Not for HELIX 5: Despite having a 5-inch screen, the newer HELIX 5 series has a completely different housing shape. This cover will not fit a HELIX 5. You need the UC H5 (Hard Plastic) or UC H5 SIL (Silicone) for a HELIX.
- Specific 500 Models Only: This cover only fits specific 500 series models listed below. Check your unit's exact model number before purchasing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this cover made of hard plastic?
No. The UC M (780007-1) is manufactured from soft, stretchable neoprene (similar to wetsuit material). It is designed to stretch and grip around the bezel of the legacy units.
Will this fit my new HELIX 5?
No. The HELIX 5 has a much wider, rectangular housing (16:9 aspect ratio) compared to the older square-style screens of the Matrix and 500 series. You need the UC H5 unit cover for a HELIX 5.
Can I leave this on while towing my boat on the highway?
Yes. Because it is made of stretch neoprene, it provides a very snug, gripping fit around the unit, making it much less likely to blow off at highway speeds compared to snap-on plastic covers. However, always double-check that it is pulled down completely over the corners before driving.
