Will this fit my HELIX 8?
Absolutely Not. The ONIX 8 and HELIX 8 have completely different body shapes. The ONIX is squarer with a glass front; the HELIX is wider with a plastic bezel. This cover will not fit a HELIX unit.
Is this a soft rubber cover?
It is a "firm" rubber-like material (often called Silicone Composite). It is rigid enough to hold its shape like a hard plastic shell, but it has a slight flex to grip the unit tightly without scratching the housing.
Does it work with the sun shade visor installed?
Generally, no. If you have an aftermarket plastic sun visor screwed into your unit, you usually have to remove it to snap this factory cover on, as the cover is molded to fit the exact factory bezel dimensions.
